Tri-City Environmental provides coverage solutions for both direct and vicarious liability exposures arising out of wrongful acts in the rendering of professional services. Insured entities can be architects, engineers, construction managers and other specialty design firms providing professional services. Coverage can even be extended to an owner or a general contractor.
These policies can even be enhanced to provide coverage for issues against claims for third-party bodily injury, property damage or cleanup costs/environmental damages arising from pollution conditions caused in the performance of covered operations. The coverage applies to sudden and gradual pollution events and responds to cleanup costs, both on and off the work site. (The program can be endorsed to provide coverage for Mold/Microbial Matter.) This coverage enhancement is achieved by endorsing the policies with the contractors pollution liability extension.
Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL) provides coverage for damages due to pollution conditions arising from the performance of covered operations by the Insured or their subcontractors. These claims include alleged improper supervision of subcontractors against the Insured and coverage for claims arising out of environmental work performed by the Insured or their subcontractors.
